Big John, the godfather of Japanese denim, created the first "Made in Japan" jeans in 1965 and the first Japanese denim fabric in 1972. Since its humble beginnings as a family-owned sewing business in Kojima after WWII, Big John has remained committed to honoring its heritage and pushing the boundaries of Japanese denim. Today, its extensive collection showcases some of the finest Selvedge denim from Okayama.
