IHJ-161-IND Coach Jacket...
While this style of jacket is traditionally made from nylon to protect against the elements, Iron Heart has made it in a 10oz Japanese nep selvedge denim — result, their most distinctive coach jacket to date.
The denim is woven with an indigo rope-dyed warp and a light blue weft, with the neppy warp yarn creating an irregular texture brimming with vintage charm. Unlike many of their other denim jackets, this model is partially lined with a 6oz cotton twill — a primarily visual choice intended to conceal the pocket bags — while the back remains unlined to showcase the reverse of the weave.
Other key features include a snap-fastening main opening, rear cinches for an adjustable fit, and a drawstring hem with ribbed cuffs to reduce wind penetration — finished with oversized copper snaps and an embroidered Iron Heart patch that plays on the “team sports” aesthetic of the jackets that inspired it...
