Expertly dyed for consistent color, it comes packaged in a traditional Japanese wax paper envelope. Made in Japan, the color is a traditional Japanese deep navy “Katsu-iro” (Katsu means victory and iro means color), a brave Japanese color name favored by samurai who were obsessed with victory. Hand illustrated design by founder Junichi Kobashi. This bandana embodies the timeless color of Hanada-iro and an original design by founder Junichi Kobashi
