In 1905 Charles Beckman founded the Red Wing Shoe Company in Red Wing, Minnesota.

He believed it wasn’t enough to make good boots; you had to make good boots, the right way. Using the finest leathers and quality materials with uncompromising craftsmanship, he promised to make boots that were as tough as the customers who wore them.

To celebrate 120-year, Red Wing are bringing back this Iconic style to Europe. The Engineer.

First introduced in 1936, Red Wing’s original “pull-on” Engineer-style boot was designed for horseback riding and hunting. By 1941, the boot had gained popularity among surveyors and railroad engineers — earning it the name we know today: the Engineer.

The Engineer boot in Black Klondike leather was released in Japan as a lifestyle boot in 2016. And now Red Wing bring it to Europe.
